"In ordinary life, a mentor can guide a young man through various disciplines, helping to bring him out of boyhood into manhood; and that in turn is associated not with body building, but with building an emotional body capable of containing more than one sort of ecstasy."

- Robert Bly

I hope to see more and more male mentors in society, as I personally feel a bit lost at the moment without the insight of a mentor in my life. Maybe the time finally arrived for men to embrace their young sons, and for adult men to embrace each other; this embrace may be brotherly or as the result of love interest. I firmly believe that most men are in dire need for warmth and understanding, even just a hug from a fellow man. Men have lived without the feeling of being protected for far too long.
