"Born into the Lie" deals with freeing ourselves as men once we understand the anatomy of the gender-lies we were born into. According to Robert Bly: "our work as men and women is not only to free ourselves from family cages and collective mind sets, but to release transcendent beings from imprisonment and trance." In other words we have to overcome the lie and live according to our own individual rules.
