I personally believe that our ideas about romantic love have been completely skewed by societal "rules and moral codes" and especially by the church (and religion) in general. In order to become a fully embodied "Wild Man" we have to rid ourselves as men from so many twisted ideas about love which was carefully spoon-fed to us since we were born. I believe true love is a gift and that no person can ever "own" another. I have struggled for many years to come to this conclusion and still battle with the concept that nothing in life is permanent, and that the only true reality in the world is constant change.
